North Runcton trainer, Matt Gingell has plunged £70,000 into constructing a six furlong all weather gallop.  Matt believes this will allow the 25-strong yard to gain a crucial edge. 'The industry has a lot more all-weather racing these days and I now have the chance to train on consistent, natural, easy ground.  It should save the horses legs - they'll be able to work a bit harder and build up their stamina' Matt

Situated just off the A10 in North Runcton, our yard is always pleased to see owners and friends. Please telephone before visiting as we may be racing.

Club House

club house 1 club house 2 club house 3

Our club house has now been completed to the delight of our owners. We have a centre where owners can get together and plan race strategies, discuss form and enjoy watching racing on the television. This is more than a social centre, we feel in helps to bond together the various members of a partnership who might not otherwise meet.

Since finishing this facility has been in constant use and has witnessed meetings, barbques and post race celebrations.

Open Day  July 29th, another great success

Sunday was yet another great Open Day at Runcton Hall, the first was in 2005 and the second last year.  This year we were visited by more people than any previous year. The rain held off, except for a brief shower and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

We showed the horses working; on the gallops and over hurdles. This proved  so popular  we took out three strings each time.  We also let those interested have a go at clay pigeon shooting.  this kept us busy for a couple of hours. Even the shower did not dampen spirits and they kept shooting throughout.

Lunch time was a bit hectic. We had so many people we had to keep some waiting while we re stocked. It was great to see you all and we look forward to seeing you again next year.
