Retired Horses
Elm Farm
James owns 110 acres of permanent pasture at Elm Farm near Stansted; he runs riding stables and livery. Any of the horses that go to him for retirement that are able to be used in other spheres of riding, dressage, show jumping etc., do so.
Ridden mainly by his qualified staff any that leave racing through injury and can no longer be ridden are given the opportunity to live out their lives with the sun on their backs. Some of the horses that have been retired to James's are American Hero, Sands of Gold, Ulvic Star, Cool by the Pool and Activity.
